SolarEdge 6000 Watt 208/240/277 Volt AC Inverter w/ Arc Fault Protection
Grid-Tie - Single Phase
Manufacturer Part Number: SE6000A-US
What makes the SolarEdge system unique is its combination of the benefits of inverter-level monitoring and control with a single, central inverter. This allows SolarEdge to offer low costs while still maximizing the output of your solar array, even if there are shading issues or mismatched modules. It should be noted that this product does not work alone; it requires the use of a SolarEdge optimizer on each panel.
Features
- Module level MPPT - optimizes each module independently
- Dynamically tracks the global maximum operating point for both modules and PV inverter
- Module-level monitoring for automatic module and string level fault detection allowing easy maintenance
- Electric arc detection - reduces fire hazards
- Unprecedented installer and firefighter safety mode - safe module voltage when inverter is disconnected or off
- Connection of one or more modules to each power optimizer
- Lower installation costs with faster design, less wiring, DC disconnects and fuses
- Easy and flexible installation – use the same installation methods as exist today
- Allows parallel uneven length strings and multi-faceted installations
- Allows connection of different module types simplifying inventory considerations
- Immediate installation feedback for quick commissioning
- Arc Fault Protection

Detailed Description
All SolarEdge inverters are part of an innovative system designed to provide superior performance at a competitive price. The SolarEdge inverter combines a sophisticated, digital control technology and a one stage, ultra-efficient power conversion architecture to achieve superior performance – over 97% efficiency and best-in-class reliability.
Fixed voltage technology ensures the inverter is always working at its optimal input voltage, regardless of the number of modules or environmental conditions. A proprietary data monitoring receiver is integrated in the single phase inverter and aggregates SolarEdge power optimizer’s performance data from each PV module. Multiple inverters can be connected in an RS485 bus or using a wireless Zigbee MESH network.
The data from the solar inverters is transmitted to the web using an Ethernet connection
or a wireless link and can be accessed via the SolarEdge Monitoring Portal for performance analysis, fault detection and troubleshooting. The inverter comes with an AC/DC safety switch and is light enough for a single person to install on a supplied bracket.
