The GridBox features lithium iron phosphate battery modules with a custom energy management systems (EMS) for their batteries and integration them with the internal hybrid inverter to connect to solar panels directly or into existing gird-tied PV systems. The EMS has the ability to regulate the internal conditions of the GridBox enclosure, the voltage of the battery cells and how power is flowing to and from the batteries.
The power capabilities of the GridBox ranges from 100-1000kW and the battery banks range from 192-1104 kWh. The GridBox BESS is easily expandable with multiple enclosures connected in parallel to increase the Power and energy storage of for the given project.
